Our Doctors

In Zoovet the consultations are held by the general-duty doctors, as well as by the following specialists: ophthalmologist, dermatologist, cardiologist, oncologist, ornithologist, herpetologist, dentist, traumatologist-orthopedist. There are always at least 6 doctors, 5 junior medical assistants, a laboratory doctor, the receptionist, call-centre and drug-store staff helping animals at our clinic. The qualified specialists keep patients under a 24-hour medical observation in our recuperation department.

Baranov Maxim Nikolaevich Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia graduate. He worked and did practical work in Odintsovo veterinary centre, his specialization are therapy and surgery. He worked as general-duty doctor. The director-general of the veterinary centre ZOOVET.
Kornyushenkova Ekaterina Valerievna The head doctor of the veterinary centre ZOOVET. Her specialization are visual diagnostics and dermatology. MVA named after Srkryabin graduate, her specialization is veterinary doctor-zooengineer, graduated in 1999. For 5 years she worked as visual diagnostics doctor in the Veterinary centre. Dmitriy Valentinovich Garanin Chief Surgeon of the centre Candidate of Biological Sciences (PhD) In 1996 Dmitkiy Garanin graduated with honours from MVA named after Skryabin. Since 1994 he worked as an assistant, and then became a doctor at “Biocontrol” clinic under the direction of Pofessor Mitin. From 2000 to 2007 he worked as the leading surgeon in “White Fang” clinic where he dealt with neurology, oncology, traumatology, thoracic surgery and chemotherapy. He wrote a Ph.D. thesis on safe surgery on dogs’ bones’ tumours. Mr Garanin is a speaker at the annual Russian and international conferences. Within the framework of the Veterinary Surgical Society he works on teaching films on veterinary surgery and holds master classes in osteosynthesis and vertebrology.
Andrey Feliksovich Danilov The leading anaesthesiologist-reanimatologist (intensive care specialist) of the centre He graduated from MVA named after Skryabin in 2001. His specialization is veterinary doctor-zooengineer. After graduating from MVA he worked in “Biocontrol” clinic at Ocological Scientific Centre named after Blokhin where he got the specialization of anaesthesiologist-expert in resuscitation. He has experience in inhalation anaesthesia, including that for exotic animals.
Kusenkova Nataliya Yurievna The leading therapeutist of Zoovet She Graduated from Moscow State Academy of Food Industry with the specialization in biotechnology and synthesis of vitamins (1996). In 2001 she graduated from Vologda State Milk-industry Academy as a veterinary doctor. For 4 years she worked as rehabilitation doctor (post-operating rehabilitation of oncological animals) at the veterinary clinic bases at the Oncological Centre. Her specialization at Zoovet is intensive therapy of critical states and emergency, as well as post-operating rehabilitation.
Alexandr Andreevich Konstantinovskiy Veterinary doctor-surgeon, specialist in veterinary ophthalmology He graduated with honours from Gorsk State Agrarian University in 2001. Prize-winner of the diploma of the Ministry for Education for the best student research paper in ophthalmology. In 2004 he took the refresher training course for ophthalmologists in North Ossetian Medical Academy. He did practical work in the leading ophthalmological clinics in Vladikavkaz and Cheget. He has published articles on veterinary ophthalmology. Gold Stethoscope prize-winner.
Maria Alexandrovna Shindina Therapeutist-surgeon In 2000 she graduated from MVA named after Skryabin, specializing in surgery. She took a course on the treatment of small pets (cats, dogs). In 2002 she worked as ambulance therapeutist-surgeon at the veterinary clinic White Fang. At the same time Maria Shindina was doing practical work as a surgeon in veterinary clinic Biocontrol. She has been working at Zoovet since 2004.
Natalia Alexandrovna Vakoulenko Veterirany doctor – surgeon In 1999 she graduated from Saratov State Agrarian University, speciality - veterinary medicine. She worked at Pervomaiskiy Veterinary Centre and Aristey Clinic. She specializes in abdominal surgery, dentistry, traumatology and orthopaedics.
Ekaterina Vladimirovna Ovchinnikova Thrapeutist In 2002 she graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, the veterinary department (specialization – veterinary doctor). She wrote her thesis on “Diagnostics of backbone diseases”. For a year she studied MR-imaging. For three years she worked as veterinary rehabilitation doctor. Ekaterina Ovchinnikova participated in the First Oncological Conference on small pets. Her articles were published in “Veterinary” magazine. She works on peritoneal dialysis.
Uliana Konstantinovna Yatsouk Therapeutist In 2003 she graduated from MVA named after Skryabin. For three years she worked as rehabilitation doctor in “Biocontrol” clinic.
Anna Valerievna Doubova Veterinary anaesthesiologist-reanimatologist (intensive care specialist), neurologist. She Graduated from Veterinary Academy in 1997 and worked as anaesthesiologist in the clinics “Biocontrol”, “White Fang”. Her specialization are anaesthesiology, critical care medicine, intensive therapy.
Natalia Vasilievna Lazareva Veterinary Lab Worker In 1994 she graduated from a Medical College, her specialization is laboratory diagnostics. Natalia Lazareva graduated from MVA named after Skryabin in 2000, specialization – veterinary doctor-zooengineer. For four years she worked in State Veterinary Service of Odintsovo region. Since 2004 she has been a laboratory diagnostics doctor of Zoovet.
Vladimir Vladimirovich Chougouevkiy Ornithologist In 1998 he graduated with honours from Nerchinsk Agrarian College. In 2007 he graduated from Buryatia State Agricultural Academy named after Filippov, specialization – veterinary doctor, surgeon. For six and a half years he worked in agriculture. He was the manager of a veterinary station which attended to more than 1000 cattle, 3000 sheep and 100 horses. He has been successfully treating birds for three years. Evgeniya Valerievna Galenko Veterinary doctor, visual diagnostics specialist In 2006 she graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, veterinary faculty. She had probation period in the clinic for 1.5 years.
Anastasiya Anatolievna Volova Veterinary Therapeutist In 2006 she graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, her specialization is veterinary doctor. For 2 years she worked as rehabilitation doctor.
Maxim Andreevich Schougorev Specialist in exotic animals In 2006 he graduated from Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin, his specialization is veterinary doctor. For six years he has been treating reptiles, has attended a special course at the section of herpetology of Moscow Zoo. He took a refresher training course for the specialists in exotic animals. Now he works as herpetologist and specialist in exotic animals at the veterinary centre Zoovet. For a year she worked as anaesthetist and rehabilitation doctor at Zoovet. In February 2007 she took the refresher training course at Russian State Agrarian University on Acupuncture and Innovations in Animal Breeding. In October 2007 she completed the course on General Renovation in Veterinary Homoeopathy at Central Homoeopathic School at the Federal centre of Russian Public Health.
Evgeniy Alexandrovich Gamov Veterinary surgeon, endoscopy specialist In 2000 he graduated from Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. He has worked at Kouklachev Cats Theatre and at White Fang clinic. Specialization – general surgery, traumatology and endoscopy.
Natalia Ivanovna Shouravleva Rehabilitation doctor at ZOOVET hospital She graduated with honours from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, specialization – veterinary doctor. She is a certified translator from/to German. Natalia worked at TIM99 clinic. She is an administrator of Student’s Veterinary site (http://student.vetdoctor.ru/) and one of the founders of the biggest Russian Veterinary on line libraries. At Zoovet Natalia is responsible for the training of assisting medical staff. Her areas of interest are: dermatology, infectious diseases and intensive therapy.
Aleksandr Grigorievich Konchev Veterinary doctor – surgeon, traumatologist In 2008 he graduated from Moscow State University of Applied Biology, speciality – veterinary surgeon. He did probation work at different Moscow veterinary clinics, including White Fang. Joined Zoovet in 2008.
Elizaveta Sergeevna Kuznetsova Veterinary therapeutics She graduated with honours from Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin in 2007. More than once she participated in conferences students and won student’s competitions. She wrote her diploma on autoimmune diseases of Persian cats. From 2005 to 2006 she worked as an assistant and, later as a veterinary doctor at Grooming Service zoological centre and as an assistant at White Fang clinic. In 2007 she started working at our veterinary first aid service. She has been working at Zoovet veterinary centre since December 2007.
Daria Mikhailovna Filimonova Vererinary therapeutist, cardiologist She graduated with honours from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, speciality – veterinary surgeon. She is a certified translator to/from German. From 2005 to 2006 she worked as an assistant at White Fang and Centre clinics. Daria Filimonova has been working at Zoovet since 2007. She has had a 3 months training course at Tierklinik-Landegg clininc in Austria where she worked under the guidance of the leading Austian veterinary cardiologist Dr Kostolich. She specializes in cardiology and, echo-cardiology. Daria Filimonova is constantly upgrades her qualifications. She regularly participates in veterinary conferences and congresses.
Ilga Dmitrievna Drozdetskaya Vererinary therapeutist Since 2004 she had been studying at Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. She joined Zoovet in 2008 and works as veterinary doctor-assistant. Her interests are therapy and rehabilitation.
Ekaterina Aleksandrovna Balakina Anaesthetist, rehabilitation doctor She graduated from Mordovia State University named after Ogareov, speciality – veterinary doctor. For one year she worked as a lab worker at Virusology department of Ryazan Veterinary Laboratory and then as a veterinary doctor at Ryazan Veterinary Station. She did her probation work at Zoovet as anaesthesiologist and intensive therapeutist. She had another probation course at Botkin Hospital. Her professional interests are in respiratory and intensive care and intensive care of critical states.
Tatiana Andreyevna Chekmareova Veterinary doctor, visual diagnostics specialist She graduated from State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin in 2006, specialization – veterinary doctor. From 2006 to 2008 she has had her probation work under the supervision of A M Shabanov and A A Tkacheov-Kuzmin and also visual diagnostics specialists of Zoovet. Tatyana Chekmareova has been working at Zoovet since 2007 as an assistant and (since 2008) as a visual diagnostics specialist. She is also a professional pet groomer.
Olga Igorevna Kondrashkina X-ray diagnostics, Ultrasound diagnostics, Echo-graphics. In 2001 she graduated from State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin, speciality – veterinary doctor – zooengineer. For three years she worked as a visual diagnostics specialist at Biocontrol clinic. She is a speaker at annual Russian and international veterinary congresses on X-ray diagnostics. Olga Kondrashkina is a member of the Association of Specialists on Visual Diagnostics.
Luybov Dmitriyevna Miroshnichenko Hospital veterinary doctor She graduated from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in 2008, speciality – veterinary science. Since 2006 she has been doing her probation work and worked as a doctor as Zoovet. At the moment she is an intensive care specialist. Since 2005 she has been taking part in congresses and conferences on veterinary science.
Natalia Victorovna Mitrokhina Head of the laboratory She graduated from State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin, specialization – veterinary science. From 2006 to 2008 she worked at Biocontrol clinic as a veterinary doctor – patolomorphologist. In 2003 she had a training course at Russian Scientific Centre named after Blokhin where she mastered the method of cytological diagnostics of pre-tumorous and timorous diseases. In 2006 Natalia Mitrokhina successfully completed a training course on immunohistochemichal diagnostics of tumours. She worked at Russian Scientific Centre named after Blokhin until 2008. Since March 2008 she has been working as pathologist -morphologist at Zoovet.
Maria Andreyevna Merkitanova Laboratory-assistant, veterinary doctor She graduated from State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. She did her probation work at Independent Shans-Bio Laboratory. She has worked at Zoovet since 2007. At the moment she is attending a course on dogs grooming.
Irina Andreyevna Malakhova Laboratory-assistant, veterinary doctor She graduated from the Ulianovsk State Agricultural Academy, Veterinary Faculty. She worked at the All-Russia State Centre of Quality and Standardization of Medication at the department of molecular diagnostics. Since 2007 Natalia Malakhova has been working at Zoovet veterinary laboratory.

Tatiana Borisovna Krasnova Veterinary doctor – rehabilitation specialist She is a fifth year student of Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. She is an active participant in the Student’s Scientific Circle of the faculty. She is doing her probation at Zoovet veterinary centre as an anaesthetist and also works as a rehabilitation doctor. Luydmila Shabalina Anaesthetist, intensive care specialist At the moment she is a student at State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. In 2003 she finished the Veterinary-Kinological school based at the above academy, speciality – handling. Since April 2008 Luydmila has been working at Zoovet. Her interests in veterinary are: anaesthesiology, intensive therapy.
Maria Vasilievna Sakhno Veterinary doctor – pharmacist In 2004 she graduated from Tomsk Agricultural University, Veterinary faculty, speciality – veterinary doctor zoologist. From 2004 to 2007 she worked as veterinary pharmacist at VETUS clinic in Tomsk. From 2007 to 2008 she worked as the executive director and veterinary doctor at Aibolit clinic in Tomsk where she specialized in dermatology, therapy of infectious and internal non-infectious diseases of pets and treating birds. Since 2008 – pharmacist and veterinary doctor at Zoovet. Maria Sakhno participates in annual Russian veterinary congresses and conferences.
Yulia Vladimirovna Zharova She works at our hospital. She is a student of Russian State Agrarian University named after K A Timiryazev, faculty of zoo-engineering. Yulia’s interests are in the area of therapy.
Maira Yurievna Makhanuyk Assistant In 2007 she graduated with honours from Ostashkov Veterinary College, speciality –medical assistant. In 2007 she entered Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin, part-time department. Her interests are: therapy and surgery.
Inna Magomedsaidovna Rabadanova Assistant In 2007 she graduated from Bryansk Agricultural Academy. Since September 2007 she has been working as veterinary doctor at Zoovet. She specializes in therapy.
Yuri Sergeevich Dorodnykh Assistant In 2006 he graduated from Moscow Medical College No 8, specialization – nurse. From 2005 to 2006 he worked at Hospital No50, department of intensive care. From 2007 to 2008 Yuri worked at veterinary clinic MIV. He is a second year student of Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. Yulia Sergeyevna Perepeolkina Assistant of exotic animals specialist She has worked as a veterinary assistant since 2005. In 2008 Yulia graduated with honours from Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after Skryabin. Her diploma work Helmintofauna of Dogs in the Environment of a Rescue in Odintsovo got an excellent mark. She is a post graduate student at the Research Institute of Helmintology named after Skryabin.
Victor Anatolyevich Bogacheov Assistant From 2006 to 2007 he worked as an assistant at the emergency veterinary centre Bemby. He did his probation work at veterinary laboratory Shans-Bio. He has been working in Zoovet since August 2008.
Tatiana Afanasieva Assistant
