Veterinary Emergency. Calling a Vet for Rodents
Calling a vet for mammals (chinchillas, guinea-pigs, rabbits, hamsters, rats) is made by preliminary appointment (the price includes a vet’s visit and clinical examination with therapeutic treatment).
Unlike dogs and cats, rodents’ treatment is more effective when at home, because in this case a vet may not only see symptoms of a disease but has an opportunity to see the conditions of keeping the pet (light, humidity, cage, bedding, feeding, etc.), since in many cases the reason of a disease of a rodent (rats, chinchillas, guinea-pigs) is wrong conditions of keeping and feeding it.
